The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a private residential property for a high-net-worth family. This individual ensures that the household runs smoothly, staff are effectively managed, and the property is maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be discreet, organized, proactive, and experienced in luxury home or estate management.
Responsibilities
Household Operations
- Develop and maintain household manuals, procedures, and maintenance schedules.
- Oversee all contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Ensure the home is consistently clean, organized, and guest-ready.
- Maintain household budgets and manage expenses, working in coordination with the family office.
- Manage household inventories (e.g., supplies, linens, pantry, wine cellar).
- Arrange and supervise repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and manage staff including housekeepers, chefs, drivers, and other support staff.
- Create and maintain staff schedules and ensure quality performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate team cohesion and professionalism.
Event Management
- Plan and execute private events, dinners, and gatherings.
- Coordinate guest stays, including housekeeping, amenities, and hospitality.
- Serve as a point of contact for the principal and guests while maintaining discretion at all times.
Travel & Logistics
- Manage travel-related arrangements for the family (e.g., packing, transportation, scheduling).
- Prepare the home before and after family arrivals and departures.
- Maintain readiness of secondary properties, if applicable.

The Portfolio Manager will lead investment strategy and execution for a Fund of Funds platform within a family office environment. This individual will be responsible for manager selection, portfolio construction, due diligence, and performance monitoring across hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and other alternative asset classes. The ideal candidate will combine rigorous analytical skills with sound judgment, discretion, and a deep understanding of multi-manager investing.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Management
- Lead portfolio construction and allocation strategy across diverse fund managers and asset classes.
- Monitor portfolio performance and risk metrics on an ongoing basis.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership and the family office board.
- Rebalance and adjust allocations in response to market conditions and investment outlook.
Manager Selection & Due Diligence
- Source and evaluate new fund managers across hedge funds, VC, PE, and credit strategies.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence, including operational reviews and reference checks.
- Develop and maintain a database of existing and prospective managers.
Market Research & Strategy
- Track macroeconomic and market trends impacting fund performance and allocation strategy.
- Stay current on developments in the alternative investment landscape.
- Provide strategic input into asset allocation and long-term investment planning.
Stakeholder Communication
- Present portfolio updates, investment theses, and risk analyses to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with legal, tax, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
